1991

Graphic Resources began as an engineering and drafting supplies company in 1991. Back then, we were called TCR II. Ken Roberts named the company after his previous employer, Tulsa Camera Record Company, who he had worked with for the past 17 years.
TCR II began humbly, in the bedroom of Ken's house. It didn't take him long, however, to sell enough supplies to need inventory space and room to ship and receive goods. So, he rented office space from his friend and fellow church deacon on 46th Pl and Memorial in Tulsa. And with more space, he began offering blueprinting and large format xerographic copies.

1993
Change was happening. TCRII was growing and needed a new name to describe the process of looking forward. Ken no longer needed the name recognition that his current company name provided because his new service offerings were bringing in new clients, not neccessarily related to the engineering and drafting supplies side of the business. Seeking new opportunities and relying on the growth of their customer base and product offerings, he and his wife chose to rename the business and move to a larger location.
They chose the name Graphic Resources and Reproduction, Inc., because they believed it reflected the growing side of their business...reproduction.
1997
Ken and his wife, Verna (who was soon to retire from Broken Arrow Public Schools), broke ground on a corner lot off Albany (61st) in Broken Arrow and began building the future home of Graphic Resources. Soon after, their business grew, and they began running blueprints and offering equipment sales and maintenance.
Early 2000s
The digital age brought high speed reprographics to the blueprint industry. And Graphic Resources jumped on board in the early 2000s, replacing our blueline machines with LED engineering copiers and wide format digital scanners. We purchased two of the industry's fastest engineering printers on the market and were poised to make the transition to a digital workplace.

Graphic Resources also began offering professional color services with the purchase of wide format plotters and high-end fine art scanners. And to assist in printing large color files, we invested in state-of-the-art RIP software. As a result, we began attracting new customers from different industries such as artists, creative designers, photographers and small format color copy shops.
2004
Graphic Resources joins ReproMAX, the nation's largest and most influential network of independantly-owned reprographics companies and construction information managers. We also partner with companies like McGraw-Hill Construction News (Dodge AGC Planroom) to provide scan to file services. The mid-2000s mark a considerable growth at Graphic Resources in digital service offerings including: scan to file, ftp file transfer, graphic design, and IT-consultative services.
With the growth of scanning and digital services, we tore down some office walls and expanded our production area into the "cold room," the room that once housed blueprint paper in an airconditioned, controlled environment. This expansion allowed us to house high-speed small-format printers and to set up a dual-screen digital services computer to handle the growing digital services requests.
2008
2008 mark a definite shift in how we market ourselves to our customers. Our company has changed with the times in order to meet the changing demands of the construction and creative industries. At one point in time, we had been considered a "printing company." But now, that's just not the case. Today, we are a "print and information solutions company."
The creative side of our business is growing to include many things outside of "printing," like web page design, business cards, fliers, out door signage, document management, remote customer support, and unrestricted file uploads via our webpage.
In 2008, we launched an "Open House" to officially spread the word about our advanced, "creative" edge. And, to help promote the Open House, we constructed a new sign out front of our business, complete with a traveling marquee advertising our new services.
2010
In 2010, we expanded our office area by renovating almost 700 Sq Ft of warehouse space. A portion of the remodeled space was designated to lease to McGraw Hill Construction's Tulsa plan room. So in February, shortly after construction finished, McGraw Hill moved their office space from 51st to our location. As a result of this strategic partnership, contractors who are interested in searching, estimating, and making copies of plans on public projects can do so quickly, all from within one facility.
The expansion also allowed us to add key pieces of printing and creative equipment that our clients had been requesting we add, including a wide format, outdoor display graphics printer that allows us to print high resolution graphics for car wraps, wall wraps, large signs, trade show displays, window decals, stickers, and banners. During 2010, we also upgraded our small format copying equipment to help meet the demands of clients needing specification manuals, flyers, booklets, and general office documents.
